Dwight 'Superman' David Howard is an American player of basketball was born December 8, 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia. It measures 2.11 meters and weighs about 120 kilograms. He plays at center for the Orlando Magic National Basketball Association (NBA).
On 16 February during the NBA All-Star Game 2008 in New Orleans, Dwight Howard wins Slam Dunk Contest, his second dunk contest remains the most significant, because Howard dons the costume and the cape of Superman to make a dunk distance, the judges give him top marks for this dunk. Howard won the final against Gerald Green. Howard has 1 meter of dry expansion.
Following the 2007-2008 season, he finished top rebounder in the league with 14.2 rebounds per game making him the youngest player in history to accomplish this performance. The same year he also totaled eight games over 20 points and 20 rebounds, the largest total since Shaquille O'Neal in 1999-2000.
During the 2009 Playoffs, he finished top rebounder with an average of 15.3 rebounds per game.
For the 2009-2010 season, the Orlando Magic franchise recruits Vince Carter. Dwight Howard finished again rebounding with an average of 13.2 taken. He also finished in first place the statistical blocks with 2.8 and for the first time in his career, he finished with the best percentage of success in the league with 61.2%. It was voted best defender for the second consecutive year. The Magic was eliminated in Conference Finals by the Boston Celtics to score four to two. In the two previous rounds, Orlando managed the sweep, winning four to zero, facing the Charlotte Bobcats and Atlanta Hawks. During the playoffs, Howard mark 18.1 points, 11.1 rebounds and realizes captures 3.5 blocks per game.
