great mood, loved it. the breathing was great animation....the wide shot where she is at the end of the pier is very dramatic, great impact. touching film! my compliments to the music too.

great animation, great breath simulation and shaders very good model (except from the hair which i didn't really like) but the story was elliptical. Anyway very good one.. : )

Well done, but... if the feeling is what you emphasize, you end up in making a terrible kitsch, like this one. Storyline is not that important in short films, what counts is the punch line at the end.

@xenoprobe1111 I understand that is has to be interpreted, but just to me every time I watched it, I took something else from it- a different interpretation that it left me to just have a firm interpretation of it. Maybe we aren't supposed to have a firm interpretation.

The story is what you make of it.

My thoughts on the matter are simple. She's grieving and alone. The storm represents hard times in her life. Yet, the storm clears and only helps the tree grow. The tree is her life. She grows stronger because of the storm, because of the tears both she and the clouds shed, and both the tree and its surrounding become more beautiful than ever.

The point is that even if we are surround by a peaceful & beautiful place the pain inside can be too much.
She lost her loved one...so she commit suicide but letting herself go....but the tree at the end show that life goes on. That's the way I interpret it.
