Red Mountain Mining District, San Juan Mountains, Colorado, Ouray, Silverton, Ghost Town

Red Mountain Mining District is a ghost town in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. This offroad trail takes you through the heart of the mining district, which features the world-famous Yankee Girl Mine. The Red Mountain Mining District Ghost Town can be found off Highway 550 (the Million Dollar Highway) between Ouray and Silverton.
