Ive read that this piece is harder to play than the 'war horse' concertos--that no less than Perlman says this piece is a workout and difficult. Any violinist care to explain why this is from a technical point of view???

We are playing the original (non-abridged) in my highschool orchestra. Wonderful stuff.

Was it a little fast? Anyway the vibrato was really good! And it was beautiful.

Very beautifully done. She really puts her whole heart into the music. Someday I will play this piece like she does.

I can't believe there's people here saying that her rhythm is all over the place. Have you played these piece before? and if so, at that level???? Symphonie Espagnole is based on triplets rhythm that are intended to have certain spanish flavor or "swing". Read about the subject if you are going to comment.
