A SMART Start in Preschool!

-Preschool children looking at the globe and asking about Hawaii. With a couple of touches on the huge SMARTboard the teacher pulls up a live surf cam of Rocky Point Oaha North Shore!
-During conferences, the teacher is able to show parents a video of their child completing a numbering activity!
-Via the web cameras children are able to connect with other preschool classrooms around the United States exposing the children to a wide variety of different cultures!

A SMART Start in Preschool will purchase 3 TeachSmart Learning Systems, 3 web cameras and provide for the installation and training for the classrooms teachers. The TSLS encourages the teachers to use constructive and imaginative play as opportunities for children to develop their vocabulary, understanding, and ability to thing about the world around them. Enhancing the quality programing provided by Head Start the activities develop important school readiness skills in all areas.
