@bigmonkeyman44 i guess this pedal sounds more marshally than all marshall pedals (jh,gouv,drivemaster etc) together...it has these agressive hi-mids which the marshall pedals dont have. also sounds great with an already overdriven tube amp and turns it into a monster..

@MENJAGVETJUINTE Grunge players arent virtuoso's so it's not about technicality.

The tone ur getting from this sounds more metal id say just plug into ur amp if it has built in overdrive like my crate amp and dont use a tuner and tune to a specific drop d or c or whatever just turn the thickest strings to what sounds good to you by ear just tighten and losen both ull finally hit a tuning sound allright i dont even have a tuner.

So what if the pedal is called "Grunge". This pedal is better suited as a metal guitar sound. At least to me it is. I turn up the gain on my amp (Marshall amp), tune my guitar to Drop D or Drop C and go on play endless riffs.
