Bicycle path entrance to Forest Park is at the corner of Clayton Road and Skinker Boulevard in St. Louis. There are no warning signs telling drivers exiting at Interstate 64 also known as, Highway 40, at Clayton Road that they are approaching a bicycle path entrance.

  • I have to say that I generally just haul ass, going against the oncoming traffic, hugging the edge of the highway ramp when heading out of the path here, then busting up onto that short spurt of sidewalk across from the gas station. I've found that this ridiculous method is the SAFEST way for me to cross Clayton and continue down Skinker. It's screwed up.

  • Well, if your that dumb that you can see your gettin ready to ride into traffic, you have no business riding a bike! Not to mention, what your video doesnt show is the construction going on at that location that wasnt finished at the time of your rediculous video. Bicyclist need to learn the rules of the road. You have the same rules as a vehicle when you ride in the street which means you have to obey the same RULES!

  • Great video! Bicycles were on the roads first and they will still be there years after the gasoline engine is phased out! Thanks for standing up for cyclists!

  • Put down the cheeseburger turn off Nascar and grow up? Ok redneck, the League of American Wheelmen, a huge bicycling organization that successfully lobbied Congress for paved roads in this country, back in the 1880s....for BICYCLES. Roads are equally owned by cars as well as bikes.

  • Get on the Katy Trail and stay off my damn roads.

  • No warning sign. It is sick and wrong for bicycles to be treated this way in the land of the free and the home of the brave (the land of the programmed and home of gasoline pimps) I'm sorry

  • itis so important to point this out. Bicycles are definately at a disadvantage as you point out. There i no money tobe made on being health. I remember once in Florida several years ago I went up to the drive-through banking option and the bank wouldn't help me because I was on a bicycle. I said there was no place to park my bicycle so I just want to use the drive through. I almost got arrested for asking again to make a bank transaction from the drive-through window at the bank.
