No, the reverb doesn't get recorded. It just makes the vocals sound better for the singer. The signal gets recorded dry and I would add FX later in Sonar

@dustypuppy Does the built in reverb get printed or can you monitor w/ reverb and record dry?
-
My mixer has FX built in - so I use one of the reverbs from there when recording. Otherwise, if I didn't want to use input echo, I would need an exernal reverb unit patched into the system.

@dustypuppy I'll give it a try later. Yes-its weird and frustrating. By the way, when recording vocals-if you want a little reverb in the headphones while tracking--how do you monitor without input echo--or do you just accept it?
-
That is some weird stuff - never heard of that before. There must be some strange properties assigned to that track. Try this. . .
Highlight the whole track, then right click and select "bounce to clips" even if its only one piece.
Now try editing again and all should be fine (I hope)
good luck

Hi! When you copy the drum pattern here--say you wanna alter just one measure with a fill or something in piano roll view,Im getting that fill being magically applied to every measure in the song. How do I alter just 1 measure and not the rest? Thanks
-
Wow, I learned more in that video than I have digging through the online help.
Thank you.

Yes, you need to use the audiosnap. Check out the 5 part videos by CakewalkSoftware called "Sonar 6: AudioSnap"
Good luck
Hi again. Ive rolled out a 4 beat midi drum pattern for a whole song. Ive added some fills for a chorus in the middle of the tune (in piano roll of course). I now wanna copy this modified part & paste it to other sections for another chorus. Ive tried your options for doing this but its not working. I copy it,but when "pasted", the pattern reverts back to the original unedited pattern. Any idea why or what Im doing wrong? Thanks!

Maybe you have "blend old with new" so you're not noticing the change . . . or something in the program is over-riding your edit
hmmm not sure but try this . . .
First, copy your part to a new track so you can try some stuff; The original will be safe - keep it muted while you work
Select the bars you want replaced and delete them altogether. Then fly in the new part to replace it.
Also experiment with freezing the track - or maybe its the "groove clip looping" doing it
