This is a vid of my solo Avatar battle against Ramuh. He paralyzed me and Carby, he 2hred on both of us, Paralayze made me waste an Ether, it was my first try on him, and still I won. Pure luck, I'd say :)

Are ethers exorbitantly expensive on this version of FF as they were in previous ones? I'm getting the game in the mail today and I just want to know what to expect. :)

The price depends on the server you are on, but normally ethers are not THAT expensive, but still aren't really cheap.

maybe like in Bahamut world?i'm in that server,and is very difficult to get gils

I'd say on every World Server. But there are still lots of ways to get gil. It just takes time, patience, and sometimes a good portion of luck.

I had trouble with summoner...

I never could get a party so I decided to solo to 20 on EP... and with that comes hardly any summoning skillups and with that comes hours of summoning x___x
