@catwatters4 50% of Americans pay income tax, 50% pay nothing or receive welfare from the state. The (privately owned) Federal Reserve is now the largest holder of Treasury debt thanks to QE2. Now Bernanke is talking about another round of money printing to keep interest rates at zero and fund the US Treasury. If the FED doesn't buy the debt, who will? Foreign holdings of the US debt have gone down by 40% in the past two years. The banksters like Bernanke control the United States.
