Glynn Art Association has a new home on St. Simons Island

The Glynn Art Association has a new home on Beachview Drive, across from the St. Simons Island Casino. The new location features large, open, light-filled galleries that are perfect for art and photography exhibits as well as displays of ceramics, jewelry, glass and other crafted items by association members, local and regional artists.

The 4,000 square-foot facility offers a large classroom space and painters' studio, as well as a large ceramics studio and workshop. Previously, the ceramics studio was located in a separate facility. Open spaces and large windows inspire creativity for artists, no matter what media they work in. There also is a gift shop that features items created by association members.

Glynn Art Association offers monthly changing exhibits, and year' round classes for adults and children, in pottery, watercolor, pastels, oils and acrylics, drawing and photography.
