Keith Rittmaster of the North Carolina Maritime Museum talks about his project to create an exhibit around the skeleton of a stranded Sperm Whale. Follow him from the animal's stranding and eventual death through the process of extracting the skeleton and re-articulating it into the most accurate reconstruction of a sperm whale skeleton to date. Learn about the biology of these magnificent animals and hear about the tremendous volunteer effort that went into making this project a success.
