I have always been in well-paid employment, and watching this makes me feel compassion, not pity. Mark is an inspiration, these people just want to be employed in a job they enjoy and bring home something decent for their efforts.CEO salaries make me angry, their yearly bonuses alone would employ a dozen people. It's so bloody demoralizing to be. In this situation, my son began to feel worthless.can anyone tell me if mark kept his job?

Here in NYC it's grossly high. a two bedroom can run 2000 maybe less, but not in a nice area. It's a shame the way it is now. sorry for slow response, I'm falling out, been bad staying up so late ahahaha.

The 300 weekly bit sounds more like nearer to London or in certain parts of London. Not too sure what the average is, I have a lot of family there and they have very good salaries, not all but most. My family come from Newcastle and the surrounding areas and you can get a nice flat for 500 pounds a Month actually, gotta look carefully but it can be gone. I stayed in Scarborough and it was the same, a two bedroom, lovely, quiet.

I always heard that flats in UK were like 300 pounds a week. So for this guy to mke 281 pounds a week seemed weird to me. What's the average wage over there do you know?

If you live in not the best area you can. Won't be easy but can be done. There are flats that are like 400 pd a Month, not posh but can survive and not have a smoking habit ahaha.

No thats how society works, people go out to work to drive buses,work in banks, be doctors,mend cars work in power stations or phone companies............Its not just government that relies on workers it the whole of society you moron ;-)
