I've been spinning the EP nonstop for three weeks now and can't stop. I can't wait for you to put out a full length, that'll kill.
What is the ending chord progression to Distanced by Dissonance, by the way? I tried to tell from your hands in this video but can't quite tell. Such an epic chord progression!

fuck my life ive been trying to figure out the acoustic part forever ;/ TABS ANYONE?!
-
What's your setup (guitar, pickups, amp, pedals, etc..)?
-
@fru1tbooter14 Yeah I think he's lightly barring the 3rd or 5th fret. I was messing with my guitar the other day and found out how to do it. lol.
-
@lobster272 Palm muting? just put the edge of your palm where your strings meet your bridge.
or the harmonics? i think he's very lighty barring the 3rd or 5th fret and up picking all of the strings really fast.
Hope that helped

@t300zx842 Just wondering, how do you do that effect at 1:11?
-
Same strap. Seems to be pretty common tho
-
Lol, I have the same shoulder strap as you
-
i have that guitar strap. just sayin. great playin
-
LOVE THE PERIPHERY/BULB tee!

Great playing ! What tuning are you playing in?
As a result we end up using a lot of Harmonic/Natural Minor, Diminished/Augmented, Major 7/Minor 9 sounds, but we really don't pay too much attention to WHAT we're playing, as apposed to just how it sounds and which notes fit the best, if that makes sense.
When I recorded the video I made sure you could say my hands, but I guess when I transferred it to YouTube it cut off the bottom lol.
I'm glad a few of you noticed the Periphery shirt lol. I'm thinking about getting the Got Djent? one.

Thanks a lot for the kind words, everyone. I'm glad you guys dig the new stuff, and we really appreciate it.
As far as scales go, we try to take more of a Jazz approach and not be constricted by using any one particular key or scale, so we really just use the notes that sound the best and in most cases they end up being notes that are outside of the scale/key.
