Windy City Spring Lullaby

refreshing rains have inspired seasonal gifts
many dodge for cover as they splash and run
I choose to drench myself in magical delight
another colorFULL spring is quickly passing by

blooming trees are filling with new born leaves
wee creatures immerge from their hibernation
the air is flowing with the songs of sweet birds
the misty sky invites me to glory in mother nature

winds whip granting a preview of summer heat
two fuzzy bunnies dart in and out of their playground
the faint sound of waves from the lake caress my soul
a rainbow of wonder appears and surrounds me in joy
