So I flew etihad first class from NY and in Abu dhabi we stayed at the emirates place a 3 bedroom suit and one night we spent in the desert on a Safire and I'm only 14 what a summer :)

The only flight I've ever been on where there was a landscape camera and it was on was almost entirely over the pacific ocean. Sucks.

Worth a try if you get a good fare. There is a free Etihad shuttle bus to/from Dubai.
