King Anyi: FRESH out of LA County

King Anyi documents his release from LA County Jail after being held over a weekend for fitting the description of a Jamaican Burglar.

Friday night, May 1, 2009, This Jamaican dude in an abandoned or vacant house, and driving around in a Ford Taurus, trying to get with this young girl in the garage. Police were called and interrupted the dude's chill session, and he fled on foot. Police caught the girl and went on a two-helicopter search of the N. Inglewood area.

Sitting in his home, editing footage, King anyi heard these helicopters and went to ask police what was going on, as a journalist. Camera in hand, he began to approach officers to inquire about the situation, but before he could reach the corner where the officers were, he was detained on suspicion on burglary, where he was then ID'd and arrested in front of his home.
