I quickly show you how to email high res photos with your iPhone. Using this tip will allow you to pass along images at their natural size rather than compressed.

  • I'm sure the re size is just to accommodate the screen size.

  • o no it just resizes them. If it chopped them off that would be terrible! lol.

I've actually found there are some alternative softwares to itunes, and it will let you transfer photos in their original size and quality. The problem is, they all cost, and if you think about it, you really shouldn't have to pay $29.99 for another piece of software so you can view photos in their original resolution on an ipod/iphone. iTunes should have had this features to begin with. I'll keep looking tho!

  • I have never ventured into trying that. So I would hate to misinform. Does it chop the image off at 640x480 or just resize them?

  • this is a great tutorial!

by any chance do you know how to transfer images from your pc to your iphone/ipod touch photo library at their highest resolution? The problem is that I've taken many great pics with my 5mp camera, but when I copy them in itunes it downsizes them to 640x480..
