Satan is an already defeated foe, left to serve the purposes God has for him til he is thrown into the lake of fire.

This question is for some reason so commonly misunderstood. I was not asking the question because of something I did'nt understand, I presented this question as food for spiritual thought not because I wasn't aware of the correct doctrinal answer to the question your responses are evidence that you felt I needed some doctrinal rebuttal I simply ask a question, thats all. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.

@nvjharmonica if you are not willing to give up worldy treasures and ways of life for his name and glory then you cannot be his disciple and you cannot know the will of the father .......i went for a long time believing i was saved when infact i was a hypocrite and on my way to hell because i believed i could keep my sin and love him too if you love him his spirit will dwell in you and work in you and change you're very way of thinking and bring you under submission & deliver you of sins bondage

you missed the point of the message friend, if you are saved then you must be saved from the sin that you once loved...this is not over night its a on going work one victory at a time you may be addicted to porn smoking astrology gossiping ect these are BIG sins he will save you from these sins one sin at a time
and its a lasting change in you're life....You must do the will of the father in heaven and believe on his sacrifice for you're eternal life

@nvjharmonica As Paul Washer teaches so clearly, a person who believes Jesus Christ died for him to pay the price of his sins is saved. The saved person may still sin from time to time BUT he deeply regrets his sins and confess them before God for forgiveness; God forgives him. If a person keep sinning and doesn't regret nor confess them before God for forgiveness, and his sins don't bother him, he WAS NEVER BEEN SAVED in the first place.

@TheDarkLordLucifer I see your page! And now I know again there is a God in heaven
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you;
I pray for you my friend!

If a person can keep sinning and yet go to heaven what must he or she do to go to hell?
-
@Aphablueforce A person is not sanctified the moment they are born again. The evidence of true conversion is a hatred of sin, but continuing to do something you hate repeatedly? The biggest problem with what you said was "somewhat accepted Jesus." First, Jesus accepts us, and there is no partiality in him, and there is no partiality in knowing him. Has this person received the Spirit?Thisis knowable. Read the first epistle of John, that is why it is there.Examine yourself, only God can reveal it

Following my first comment. Does that count as being a new creature who is born agian or let say' save by Christ?
This comment has received too many negative votes show
To me the message is absolute rubbish and a disservice to God .The Holy Spirit convicts that Jesus Christ is Risen and alive today. The Holy Spirit does not point to our sins . He reveals Jesus Christ who is the Forgiver of sins and much more.. Religious people are conscious of sin, Spirit filled christians are conscious of Jesus Christ.

John 16:7-9
7But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me;
