  • AMERICA = socialist country for Corporations!

The Pattern that put the banking Mafia in Charge: Community Reinf Act, its enhancement in 95 under Clinton; ending the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act; Sarbanes-Oxley Act of July 2002; lifting of leveraging rules; TARP; elimination of the Uptict Rules; FED now rules commodity market = electronic counterfeiting of commodities (ending of 5th Amnd constitution of title):

Counterfeiting of securities is the new drug!

    The non-sustainability point of Democracy

  • Under our current fascist regime, the "people" wouldn't "own" the auto idustry or anything close to it.

The people would not have any "control" whatsoever.

The Nazis might BUY stock in the idustry with TAX PAYER money and then the wealthy would run it the way they please.

If the auto industry started making profits again, the money would simply be used for more corporate welfare, the money going to the rich.....again.

  • Well no I guess, I've never heard about that before.

  • Watch "Who Killed the British Motor Industry?" by Jeremy Clarkson. They nationalized British Leyland via Tony Benn as a last ditch effort for Govt support and help keep unionized workers' jobs. Notice the striking similarities between British Leyland (Jag, RR, Mini, Morris, Austin, etc.) and the Big 3. You don't hear anything about British Leyland, do you?

  • oooh, i SEE NOW. mAKES SENSE.

  • The interviewer needs to take a shower and get off the drugs.

  • Preach that shit! Do you think the auto industry should be nationalized?

  • Muslim, does that answer your rude question? Are you a communist?

  • R U COMMUNIST OR WHAT?

  • Workers should own their workplace. Transportation = public service.

Moving this sector from private to public could solve many problems, like the state of the planet

  • Sugar is the same everywhere, cars are not. The car-makers greatly wested R&D and brand-vise in expensive to buy and own/use cars that's not already luxury goods, and currently have mostly those models in production or for sale, should go bankrupt or be bought by another one to produce their cars.

  • Yeah, Geraldine's not like them busty blondes and brunettes on the corporate entertainment news. I think Jim was checking her out when she didn't look his way. The Real News can be real naughty sometimes.
