You know the old saying, "you are what you eat"? Well, it's true. No one has a perfect record eating whole, fresh, sustainable, humanely killed, hormone-free, GMO-free food all the time (ok, a few of my colleagues might) but for our own health, the health of our families, and the health of our communities, it's important that we try. And, shopping at a farmers marketing in Los Angeles (or at your own local farmers market) is a great way to do this.
