  • i was at the concert at Massy hall in Toronto,I had no idea the show was going to be recorded live, when we went in everyone was givin this pamplet with the story of 2112 .The concert i was at was for the "ALL THE WORLDS A STAGE"album.I still have that pamplet and my ticket stub. And of course the double album.

  • @STRATCAT101 - I am jealous. The first rush concert I was at (Newcastle UK 13 june 80) was recorded for the exit... live album according to the program notes for the Moving pictures tour. None of the Newcastle gig made the live album. The idea that the whole concert exists on tape somewhere is tantalizing. to date I have not seen a bootleg of the concert...but I would dearly love to hear it.

  • LOVE this album! Never seen this song live before! I don't suppose you have a live version of FOL anywhere?

  • I wish I did. There is a mythical bootleg that supposed to contain FOL..but I dont think it exists... perhaps its on top of that mountain in the east.

...Life is just a candle, and a dream

    Must give it flame

  • Well i disagree with you.

Why can't we judge Neil's playing,

    because he's God??

    Wake up; he's only human.

    Personally I think he's a master.

on the last dvd he hardly makes mistakes.

But every fan will take his hat off for Neil.

He's bloody brilliant, that's for sure

  • @4skorand7 i noticed the same thing as far as his timing, either he has issues with it, or he purposely pushes and pulls the timing for dramatic puposes, as i have noticed that geddy and alex are right there with him and it seems locked in. he definately is in control of the songs tempo and exploits it to a degree- or his timing sucks, lol.....

  • @nginearS2 The chords progression is deinitely similar isn't it.

  • @nginearS2 I always thought so.

  • Caress of Steel is an amazing album.

  • @STRATCAT101 Oh yah I was there too... I remember paying $5.50 a ticket ......the ticket was orange in color and the show was fantastic. Rush! My favorite band of all time...

  • I would pay THOUSANDS of dollars for a really clean boot of this album, ESPECIALLY the Fountain of Lamneth.

  • the part after te appearance of prince by thor is fucking brilliant, so bloody well crafted

I really don't see why 'the boys themselves' see caress as a failure.

    It's magic

  • Understand.......... I love rush. but doesn't the latter half of this sound a lot like Sweet Jane?
