@BeauLeeman : Surely you're not serious about liking this interpretation the most! Don't get me wrong, Ben did a wonderful job considering his age (this piece is difficult for small hands), but there are some subtleties missing (and understandably so!) Occasionally, some notes come out harsher than they should, and the left hand could be brought out more in the relevant places. Nevertheless, congratulations!

I agree...The interpretation could be much better if you memorize, because the feeling is more perceived...

I'm sure the notes are all resident in memory and his fingertips. Some like to have the music handy just in case ...
I'm an intermediate player, never had a lesson though, and been away from keyboards for some years now. I picked up on this popular piece online, and will learn it.
I've spent the last few hours perusing youtube vids to get a feel for the various interpretations. Interesting that after hearing Brendel, Horowitz, Perhahia, and Wolfgang Ellenberger, I liked this one the best!
