The latest Album from Funeral is called Welcome Home Armageddon and it's fucking unreal. Back to their much heavier sound - that even the band have admitted in interviews is what they do best.
I love everything Funeral ever made. But, I do get chills every time I listen to the new album and hear even more epic screams than they've managed before.
Long live FFAF.

@JohnnyDarkoKelly I wouldn't say that. This one still has a tougher edge to it then the stuff on Tales

@carls000 i miss the rawness of Between Order and Model and Four Ways. Casually Dressed was still great but you could tell they were making a change. Hours confirmed that. now i really can't get into their new stuff. i dig a couple songs on their new LP but its just not the same

@JohnnyDarkoKelly I couldnt disagree more im afraid....This is in a totally different league to TDTT! one of the softer songs of the album but theres a big difference in the style of music between the 2

its after the 3 minute mark on this video why this song is the best! as for musically all the way through, id say drive, juneau or novella
-
I wish they kept the screaming in as it added energy to the song.

@WarnerMusicGroupLtd Why yes, you are very late. At no point is Tales bland though. Albeit, its not heavy and sticks to its concept, but bland isn't the word. Now if you head into Tales expecting the old FFAF, well then you'll be dreadfully disappointed. As for Storytelling, there is very little in the way of 'hooky riffs'. There's the verse guitar line but thats not a hooky riff really in that its placed secondary to the vocals. If anything, Storytelling is the most bland song on this album.

@JohnnyDarkoKelly i'm really late, but it's not really like TDTT, it's got hooky riffs, TDTT is more bland and cheesy.
i think this song is like the Tales Dont Tell Themselves stuff. it has no screaming and is 1 of CDADIC's softer songs. still gr8 tho.
