If Quebec what’s to enact communistic style laws they should do what the U.S does enact them on Christmas Day and New Years eve in the middle of the night and then tell the press to keep quite.

I searched for "culture revolution" & think you mean the Chinese Cultural Revolution during Mao leadership, but don't really have time to read much about it. One article that briefly mentions the revolution is entitled, "The Hypocrisy and Danger of Anti-China Demonstrations", is by Floyd Rudmin, & a good copy is the following one that I just it & definitely recommend.

    commondreams. org/archive/2008/04/14/8287

Rudmin's argument is like my reason for being against westerners criticizing China.

Don't worry. I wouldn't tell a Chinese person that he/she can't criticize the Chinese govt. But it's not guilty of more human rights violations than the govts & corporations of the US, Canada, UK & some European countries. China also isn't a global hegemon or guilty of supreme international crimes, but US, Ca, ... definitely are & repeatedly so. These are their wars of aggression. The biggest genocide in human history has been in the Americas & it continues, tho not like historically.
