Part 1 of 2. There have been many great Castlevania games over the years, but would you believe that one of the best hasn't been available to the West until very recently? Roo takes up the mantle of perhaps the greatest action-oriented Castlevania game in order to show everyone what they've been missing. Throw out your FMV games, plug in your CD peripheral, and get ready to explore the checkered past of Rondo of Blood!

  • While I think the rest of your review is pretty damn solid, my only gripe is at 5:00; See, in order to translate from Japanese to English, you have to have the kanji and katakana, not text.

  • @maggosh Ah, I honestly did not know that. Thanks for the tip.

  • I WANT YOUR SHIRT!!

    NOW!

  • 2:45 That was french?!

  • SOOOOOOO YOU LIKE TO PLAY CASTLEVANIA! LET'S FIGHT SNAKE!

  • Holy crap Rondo of Blood was released in my exact birthday!

  • And Rondo of Blood was no Super Castlevania IV!

  • @thatguyontheright1 Just use the xm6 emulator. You can play all the arcade perfect ports that the x68000 has. No disk swapping or long loading times.

  • @qbertaddict1 well for us yanks, its our only option. Do you want to spend the money to have a Sharp X68000 shipped to the US? Not to mention they are clunky, and use 5 1/4 inch floppies which can be quite fragile.

  • @thatguyontheright1 Yeah but for some reason it doesn't seem to play as well. Either way it kicked butt on both systems

  • @qbertaddict1 Luckilly that version came to the US on the PS1 as Castlevania Chronicles.
