The Arrow was an oil tanker that struck Cerberus Rock in Chedabucto Bay (Nova Scotia) on February 4, 1970. This was Canada's first major oil spill; about 8,000 tonnes of bunker c oil was lost. The vessel broke in two 4 days later. The bow still lies in the immediate vicinity of Cerberus Rock. An attempt to salvage the stern was unsuccessful, it sank about a-quarter-of-a mile away. The oil that remained in the stern was removed by navy divers.

  • Your video is good but was your video supposed to play "Tales of the Phantom Ship" completely? As after the first minute or so the pictures stop playing and the song stops playing until the last 30 seconds where only rock music plays.

  • What is the name of this song and the band performing it? Interesting vid.
