You ppl understand that she's trying to replicate Fado?!
Wich was considered World Immaterial Heritage just recently.
Maybe she wants to be a Fadista (lol) wich is something impossible to her, even if she was to learn portuguese and spend the rest of her days in Lisbon she would never reach its true meaning. Its soul music deeply rooted into its people and the tradition surrounding it. You cant learn that in any music school as you need to be native to it.
Thats why Fado is so unique.
