What type of reverb/delay effect are you running? You can hear it when you start into Eruption. Awesome man best cover version I've ever heard from someone who isn't so f'ing pretentious and prissy like some of these whiners out there.

Thanks! It's a plate verb and tape delay in my DAW. (logic) Unfortunately not the sunset sound studio's plate and an echoplex...

hes got some pretty week distortion but the evh tone is there he just needs more overdrive

Mine is actually slightly more distorted than Eddie's. Check out solo'd EVH tracks for proof. If only I had his technique and plexi I might have done this with a little less distortion. Eddie's plexi had an incredible combination of clarity and saturation. In addition, Ted Templeman ran Ed's tracks hard into a Urie 1176, which further increased the distortion levels. audible on the early VH lp's. But regardless, Eddie is the Don!
