Going Home (Wild Theme from 'The Local Hero')

Hi everyone, this isn't my first vid on youtube, but I decided to erase all my older videos and start again.

I'm 15 and I've been playing guitar for just over 5 months now (since early November last year).

This song is called 'Going Home' and was written by Mark Knopfler as the theme tune to a film in the late 80s called 'The Local Hero'. If anyone wants the backing track I can probably send it to them somehow, but I don't have tabs cause this was by ear.

I'm only using real basic gear - squier strat (middle and bridge pickups in parallel), roland microcube and my ipod. Enjoy (hopefully)!

oh, and @A3Leary, I don't have the backing track on my hard drive at the moment, but if I find it again I'll send it to you. I found it through a few google searches originally, so it might still be floating around the internet somewhere!

Oh my gosh... Are you serious about this young man dying? How did he die? His playing is excellent! I've been playing for over 30 years and haven't mastered this song like him.  My condolances to the family.
