"There is no freedom to yell 'fire' in a crowded theater and there is no freedom to stir up religeous hatred."
If speaking the truth stirs up religeous hatred then what does that say?
And if one can't speak the truth because it would stir up hatred then does that mean that people must remain silent even when they see terrible things happening?

@fromwilliams To follow through with the fire metaphor: If Gheert Wilders is the man shouting fire in the theatre; since he makes absolutely no untrue statements in his film, therefore there is a fire in the theatre.
FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!

@fromwilliams First of all, that statement was very condescending, second of all we in the UK do not have a first amendment, thirdly the British people have minds of their own, they are the ONLY ones that control their thoughts. Not the state or any other guardianistas for that matter!

The English parlement are spineless basterds, comeon they where afraid to talk to wilders because thousand of muslims threatend to storm the parlement if he would be allowed. so they listen to islam but not the fellow european countries.

lol, I think that's a far deal for someone shouting "FIRE!!!" in a crowded theatre and cause mass panic,
Hang the bastard lol.
No, but seriously, i really don't get the point of that, people could get seriously hurt or crushed to death, so that seems like a logical law where you're not allowed to falsely shout fire in a crowded theatre, (clearly meaning with the intention of causing a panic)
They're not going to prosecute someone with Tourettes or delusional schizophrenia.
Am i wrong ?

Lord Pearson was one of UKIP's best leaders; he united the party and led it to a huge increase in its share of the vote. For that, the party must be grateful.

@UnyieldingDefiance If people truly believe in the Qur'an and want to follow what it says, then they will be inspired to commit attrocities in the name of Islam; that is what Muhammed did, and they must follow his example in order to be good Muslims.

Us and them....
I'm from Holland and I should warn you about Wilders. He devided our country with his retorica.
Is there something wrong Islam? ofcourse there is.
Are all muslims to blame? ofcourse not .
Is there something wrong with kapitalism? ofcourse there is.
Are we all to blame? ofcourse not.
Discern is a answer to his generalization

We need tougher laws against corrupt officials in both the public and private sectors. Freedom to lie has replaced freedom to speech.
There is no absolute right of free speech, because there are always circumstances in which unregulated expression can create problematic or dangerous situations. The need for safeguarding the public against certain forms of speech creates exceptions that are not protected by the First Amendment. "Falsely shouting fire in a theatre" is an example.

@fromwilliams You have a very dim view of the 'Public' . Did they ask to be 'protected' (i.e. inhibited) from expressing thoughts by self appointed guardians?

The First amendment doesn't protect fraud, just because it may be spoken.

@fromwilliams So that's all the politicians thrown in jail then?

WE should all insult islam yust to make a point. No religion can ever take our freedom of speech.
Muhammed was a paedophile, Jesus was a crazy bastard and Moses was a fool.
Blaspheme and show them that we can say what we want, just like they can.
