I suppose thats true. and don't misunderstand me I've been a fan for donkeys years now but, well by all means keep it fresh but with so many great tunes in your catalogue which people really love.... for 30 quid you could at least play a couple surely! He did half of you do something to me and that was it for old stuff. It was a bit half arsed and gave me the feeling he was just reaching in my pocket.

@molbystwin I suppose he is just trying to keep it fresh and new, but I understand your point, although an artist can't keep relying on a back catalogue, survivable though it may be, he still has his reputation and a sense of duty to his fans to keep grafting. Regards

Paul Weller's lovely. He's right - we ARE an ageist society - but I find him just as brilliant and entertaining as ever. Weller's a really cool person, but his performance is hot : ). He's got a good attitude towards true music and that 's ageless. He obviously intends to stay relaxed about growing older and appreciates his creative life. Plus he has good, young, musical talents with him. Repsect. He'll make more albums, definitely!
