I think because when he fired Eve's gun and freed them all they were picking him up thinking he was their hero.

Poor Wall-e. He was mistaking what he was seeing through the glass & he didn't know he was holding Eve's arm the wrong way.
Sometimes I laugh at the rogue robot who repeats the song that Wall-e had recorded in its own way while it was running away.

is there any way you could help get me an audio clip of the defective robots that follow Wall E? The little beep sound they make that mimics the song on Wall E's recorder, I wanna get that for a ringtone for my mom actually, haha. We've been trying to months...
