@bro8664 Well, I have little experience driving trucks hino, for you are good the way? in the few times he and managed for the series is good but 500 (2626). greetings.
The Hino design engineers in Japan need to take on board suggestions by the people that drive their trucks. The speedometer/odometer is extremely difficult to read in daylight. The speedometer had to be recalibrated twice,my guess is it wasn't set up for 17.5x 9 rims and tyres. The driver's seat does not raise enough for taller drivers so the knees can be above the pelvis, this causes the knee joints to ache on long trips. As an around town delivery truck it's great.
HINO!!! The 1027 500 series,,worst truck ever built. The 6 speed gearbox with a 260 hp motor is a extremely poor combination, get ready to change a lot of gears. When going up hill the engine will be at 2400 rpm then if you decide to change up to the next gear the engine drops to an incredible 1700rpm with absolutely no power. Constant overheating is another problem on long distance driving, the intercooler is in front of the radiator and blocks 75% of the air needed to keep it cool.
