PS - After posting this last night I was given another link to the same kids video... of him laughing.. as if to prove that the LIED.... after watching that video I understand why you say it seems fishy.... (and I DO NOT BLAME YOU)
But search youtube for (MY SECRETS VIDEO) many people have them most create a different channel to remain anonymous and Im sure MOST people do not expect their secrets to go Viral. But it is a way for them to get their SECRET / THEIR PAIN out...
Have you not been a CHILD? What you are seeing above is called backpedaling.... its an 8th grader's reaction to an embarrassing situation. His VIDEO Went VIRAL and Im sure people at his school if they were not Mean to him because he was Gay are NOW Mean to him because they are Jealous. Put yourself in his MINDSET.... How would you REACT?????? (The 8th Grade me would be like "OH YEAH... I was KIDDING... IM COOL... EVERYONE LOVES ME...SEE HERE's A FREIND" just as he did BUT REMEMBER His Video was intended to be SECRET! I'm sure he doesnt know anything else to do. You can tell in that video he is Awkward, chonking his gum all the while feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed. (AND NOTICE - He even showed his CUTTING AGAIN to VALIDATE and SOLIDIFY his story as if to contradict his words.... and SAY BUT IM STILL HURTING)
I recognized his PAIN... and I WAS THERE.... and EVERY KID Depressed or not is allowed to have MANY a day where everything is FUN and EVERYTHING IS FINE... laughing and playing.... all the while SECRETLY HOPING to be NORMAL even if you are pretending.

Misty I loved this video and also cried watching Jonah's. Things are getting better thanks to things like the Trevor project and others. It makes me sad to think these things are still being allowed to happen in America... Im sure you know where Gainesville Fl is being in FL yourself, I just got approval for a GSA (gay straight alliance) at FGC (Florida Gateway College) hopefully people like us can help make the positive change we desperately need in America come a little bit faster.
