We live in an age of discovery and opportunity. Advances in technology and communication make information more widely accessible—more facts available at your fingertips, but also more fiction claiming to be fact. Asking the right questions can be difficult enough, but when there are so many answers, how do you decide what's right?

Imagination. Investigation. Illumination. Critical thinking extends beyond the science classroom. It serves as a guide not for what to think, but how to think and live in the world—how to discover truth and meaning. Are these grown-up concepts? Far from it. The questions are ageless, and the tools are, too. The spark of inquiry is already there, and Camp Inquiry brings those sparks together in a community of young skeptics imagining possibilities, investigating claims, and illuminating answers.

  • I hate to say it, but in a couple of the clips some kids look bored and distracted. Does Camp Inquiry have any non-powerpoint/talk oriented activities? I support the effort wholehearted and think there should be more rational and science themed camps. I just think that this promotional video should include more rational/science themed fun & games activities.

  • Where are the experiments? Hands-on making your own dowsing rod and seeing if it works? Team sports? Quiz night? Dance night? ...

  • @oizz The problem is that your stariotyping kids. I went there, and personaly, I enjoyed the lectures, you may think that for kids it's all about playing around (even though there was quite a lot of that) kids also Like just thinking.

  • Way for smart people to make this feel like Christian camp.

Where are all the cool science and hands-on?

  • I, too, agree with other reactionarys about seeing more smiling and engaged participants if this is intended for promo use. I wasn't able to really hear what Shadi was saying in the video, the background music needs to be softer. A real pleasure to see all the participants and staff of the camp, though. Well done!

  • @JimmyGunXD556 Or being told Harry Potter is the devil, etc.

  • @oizz Its still better than the kids saying they love Jesus every 2 seconds. LOL!

  • LOVE the idea for this camp!! There needs to be more like this out there. :)

(Might I suggest though, that if this video is intended for promotional purposes, that you use more footage where the kids are smiling or engaging in some activity. To be honest, they look a little bored! :P In actuality, I'm sure they had a fab time XD)
