I am looking for a new graphic card. I am into rendering architectural models and animations. But I also have some kind of addiction towards games. So i am confused whether to get a quadro or GTX series. Please give your suggestions. Well, my specs are

4GB Ram

750GB Hard drive

3.20 Ghz

P.S: I want in a medium price range.

@valueboyzmsg GTX will do no good with rendering as its made for Gaming. U need quadro series card! GTX will render too, but will be kinda slow lol!

@valueboyzmsg your best bet is to build a balanced PC. It is pointless to put powerful gpu if your cpu is Pentium 4 for example. For decent gpu rendering you need high end card with lots of memory - GTX470--580 or a Quadro, but they cost 5 to 10 times more than the equivalent gaming card with little hardware difference (it sucks, I know). So unless you are ready to spend a lot of money on gpu and possibly power supply, you'd better stick with cpu rendering and use the gpu for modeling and games.

@simobgbgbg 3d animation rendering only uses the cpu & not the GPU. The GPU is used only during the editing of mass scenes which includes handling thousands of polygons, materials & shaders & not during the render process. The only renderer that uses the GPU is iray.

@xXeminem1996Xx ur cpu is fine. because my video card is a pny gtx 560 ti and the minimum system req is ur processor. However you have very little memory, which is not good. if u have a budget than i reccomend upgrading to 4 gb. if not 2 gb is the minimum
