Luna the leaping cow

One enterprising German teenager refused to give up her dream when her parents said she couldn't have a horse.

Regina Mayer, the 15-year-old bovine showjumper, grabbed the bull by the horns and spent two years training Luna, the family's cow, to clear fences.

My Lord peeps, get a sense of humor. Sheesh. I teach, and I find it amusing and cute that she's jumping a COW. Yes, she's riding a COW. I KNOW she's riding a COW. It's a little light fun on my part, especially since I admire her determination to stick with teaching said COW how to jump over two years. Half of my own students don't have that kind of determination to stick with something hard to do, and they ride horses. Jeez.
