  • Dinner date in 1988.

Invite your lady round to your bachelor pad and then treat her to a concoction of MSG, E-numbers, tartrazine and mechanically recoved carcass meat dragged from somewhere nice and warm - the freezer.

  • i wish all things start with crisps

  • Vitalite advert is a classic

  • That Rumbelows Option 3 one is insane. Why the hell end it with "Seems sensible, doesn't it?" No one uses a phrase like that unless they're going to add "But it's not." No wonder they were all closed down a few years later.

  • @Applemask I mean, puff pastry? PUFF PASTRY? On a pasty? Are you serious?

  • As a Cornishman, I resent Ginsters using the phrase "Pride of Cornwall" to describe their factory-farmed refrigerator-cabinet non-pasties. You haven't eaten a pasty until you've eaten a pasty you bought at a family bakers in Kelly Bray or somewhere.

  • @kattakethat Are you an authentic snack?

  • British Gas really believed in serving their customers better. And Bertie Bassett was really scary.

    A goden age.

  • Pop Swatch...can anyone else hear "Buffalo Stance" by Neneh Cherry in this....(Yes-I know when that came out...)

  • Really good animation in the 3-I ad.
