Love this! My sister and I used to listen this on our "Funky Favorites" record along with Snoopy and the Red Baron. My aunt's brother had a Rambler with a worked over Ford 289 and toploader 4 speed. This song makes me think of that sleeper every time I hear it. I haven't heard this in over 20 years. Thanks!

@pjdaoust Your 5% statistic is suspect. Got backup on that?

@robmonster23 5% of what are you referring ?

Did you know ... that only 5% of the cars on the road in the US have a manual transmission. So it's fairly uncommon. Also, it is true that manual shift cars are the least stolen ... apparently the crooks don't know how to drive them ... LOL

Um ... Cadillac ? Caddy ? That's the most creative spelling I have ever seen for Cadillac. Hope you enjoyed the video.

My son was OBSESSED with cars as a baby, (still is - we say he has gasoline in his veins) and I would play this song to him on the way to the racetrack and he would just giggle and scream with excitement as soon as he would hear it start. Years later he still loves to listen to it and remembers the good times hearing it as a baby. I still wonder if he is going to want his first car to be a Rambler. ;o}
