Tip:
When I "comb" my hair out I always use the denman vertical (about 1/3? of the tip portion) Rather then horizontal less damage that way. Otherwise i use it as a pic (quick gentle pulls) just to fluff it out and separate the hair. Or both "pic" then "comb" depending on how tangled my hair is or the look I'm going after.

Boo to that conditioner...it should have more slip than that and you shouldn't need so much for that one area :(

most conditioners with a ton of slip have a bunch of silicone in it, which builds up on my hair and coats it. plus i dont skimp on conditioner ever, so id rather use a lot.

Use a wider tooth comb. It helps with detangling.
