On The "Precipice" Of Passing Health Care

After meeting with Senate Democrats President Obama said that differences remain but Democrats are on the "precipice" of passing health care reform.

Im actually self employed..Maybe I should round up work instead of you tubing lol.. The system that ignores people with pre existing medical conditions was designed for handling major disasters not cronic lifelong problems. Now we seem to have adopted that same system to take care of 'everything'- which is why we cant pay for it.. The price is directly related to insurance and government junk to try and HELP us....and I cant get help at a decent price to save my own life. It sucks.

NASA? They just sent a probe out that is returning data to earth confirming the existence of hundreds of possible Earth like planets.

How about the FDIC? They've successfully prevented many American's life savings from going poof after so many banks failed this year.

What about our Armed forces and Homeland Security? They've done a fine job in preventing post 9/11 terrorist attacks.

All of these are much more difficult than producing tennis shoes and athletic apparel.

So making hospitals have to eat the cost of uninsured and low income is the ultimate model of economic efficiency?

What about self employed individuals (small business owners for example) that have the money to pay for insurance but can't because of pre-existing medical conditions? While people in the military, unions, government jobs, and large corporations get their health care served to them on a silver platter, there are a great many people who contribute immensely to society that aren't included in the system for BS reasons that you foolishly choose to ignore.

The new healthcare legislation is just trying to do what has already been done (and proven effective) for car insurance: require all to participate and prevent companies from denying coverage. I don't see GOPs coming out in droves trying to fight car insurance mandates.

Yeah well I worked the ER under both conditions, back when they used to actually triage then..and frequent flyers got sent packing. Eventually liberal legislation made it where we HAD to treat, even if they had no money or insurance.

NOW, if I go in and say I am a self pay they STILL will give only minimum care, as it should be.

This bill is about FREE stuff.. more FREE stuff. Like FREE houses from Fannie and Freddie..and FREE money from the fed for Wall St. .. and NOW, Free money for lawyer

it was before he took office.
