@Dreadmore: he did not make a good argument. the whole premise for going into Iraq was WMD, but none were found. Despite the fact that Afghanistan is much poorer than Iraq, the belief is that it is the training ground for Al-Quaeda. so, it doesn't matter how rich or poor Afghanistan is.
