first of all, there is also Druzes, Cherkesies and some Arabs in the IDF.

there is also religous Jews, but not many...

and only Ultra-religous not serve in the army,

because they use the religion as excuse....

When I went to Israel when it was time for Muslims to pray the IDF escorted all non-Muslims off of the Dome of the Rock. Yet Muslims can go to the wailing wall. You idiots think you know all there is about Israel. Have you ever been there?

@no2wavesarethesame Don't believe the hype. The Arabs are still being evicted from E. Jerusalem, and The Jordan Option is still being evoked in the Knesset on a regular basis. Since 1949, there hasn't been a single permit for building an Arab settlement inside Israel, notwithstanding the horrible swindles they've been doing to the Bedouin in the Negev.

@bibikula You misunderstood. I am Jewish and perfectly aware that Abraham, the father of our nation, was not Christian nor Muslim. Umm al fahm did start as a remnant of a Jewish community called "Ein Abraham" (literally: "the spring of Abraham"). The inhabitants are mainly Jews who converted to Islam along the ages. This never stopped them from collaborating with our enemies, though.

if you add up the druze, bedouin and christian arabs they equal or outnumber the total of others who are of sometimes dubious loyalty. i have friends in israel who let bedouins camp on their property for nothing during the year the fields are to be fallow and others who practically live with the druze. their friendships have been for decades and its a real friendship
