Part two of theBENJAMINresource.com iPhone repair tutorial. In this video we see how to replace a broken iPhone 3G glass screen. This method works to replace only your iPhone outer glass screen, or both the outer screen and the digitizer.

PLEASE: read the blog before you attempt this! There are some key points that were to much to write in the margins of the video. Read it here: http://thebenjaminresource.com/the_tips/tutorial/how-to-fix-your-broken-iphon...

This is a tutorial from www.theBEJAMINresource.com.

  • Totally agree. I just didn't realize when I began that they were that cheap (for some reason I thought that they were around the $80 mark). Oh well....lesson learned.

  • no problem

  • After doing some more research - I think you're right about the 2G home button. Thanks for the advice man!

  • oh on the 2g i think the button is detachable its not soldered on or anything you can buy a replacement for like 5 bucks on ebay unleess its something else

  • Nah man - that helps, thank you! I have a new 3GS but my old 2G is still good, the Home button just sucks haha! So its just been sitting around collecting dust... I'm kinda thinking I might just try and sell it with the Home button messed up... it's not that bad but only works maybe 6 out of 10 times. Who knows, maybe I'll just rip it open... don't have too much to lose. Regardless, thanks man!

  • i think its soldered on or glued on b/c when i switched out my digitizer and outer glass the home button didnt move like it was glued or soldered on i dont think this would help b/c you asked that q almost a month ago
