Here are my thoughts:ok,so,even if its hard for us to understand why,Effy's in love with Fred(everybody has made that clear)but she cant live without Cook.She does love him..but maybe not in the same way he loves her(a truly romantic way)From my point of view, she loves him in an even more powerful way,cause she needs him to be herself, but at the same time she cant BE with him, because(using Naomis words to Emily)hes the only person who can ruin her life, because of the hook he has on her

@InsaneIzzie its kinda like edward ,bella & jacob (not saything that twilight is better then skins;or that i can even COMPARE the epicness that skins has) but you see bella loves Jacob and he completes her, but edward is the one in her life, cook is in love with bella and is blinded by her, but she loves him back but fred is her one and only, but she still loves cook if you see what i mean xD
