London-DC - E se una notte d'inverno mentre fuori piove.....la musica (2012)

London-DC is Davide Costa, London, Britain. I'm a full time architect and I use any time I have left to compose. Music has practically knidnapped my life!
I have always loved the piano and studied for several years when I was young but after discovering the electronic world I have mostly dedicated my time to it without forgetting the beauty of any classical address of piano music.
My passion for both Cinema and Architecture are well connected to the elements from which I try to take the source of my inspiration and hopefully translating it into sounds and music.
The deep search for the right sound, shaping it and quietly appreciate its transformation during a track duration is what mostly amazes me in the electronic process.
Trying to merge visual architecture with music is how i would would define the London-DC project, if it makes sense.
I believe there is a strange path which connects my work with my curiosity towards the universe and its wonder.
I love the idea of a place where music is not defined. A place where techno goes into jazz, dowtempo into classical, folk into house, symphonic into tribal...a place where the musical expression is not dictated by any trend but rather by individual or group expression.
