You cleat off the main and with one hand trim the spinnaker and with the other you steer, and to get yourself on the trapyou put the spinnaker sheet and steering into one hand and haul urself up with the other, insane!
-
how do you trim a main and gennaker whilst steering and using the trap?
-
does anyone know what the OPTIMAL crew weight for the mps is?
-
Muy bueno ! Gracias ,desde argentina,en el sur .

Wow good ending. Asymmetrical spinners look soo much easier than symmetrical.

Depends how much time you have really. If you are willing to put the time in on the water then anyone can sail it. My tip is if you are going to do it, get hold of Stens dvd, get to one of the training sessions and speak to the good guys in the fleet, they are always helpful.
Where do you sail?

There is no ideal weight really, in the light the lighter guys have the slight edge, in windy the heavier guys have the edge. I was 82kg and was 3rd at the Worlds, Sten won at 90, but there were guys less than 80kg in the top 10.
