The people posting rude comments also need to understand that this isn't just for people who use hoops for exercising, but for hoopers as well. Personally I believe she is right, some people don't realize that their hands are in an awkward "derp" stance.

What stores sell adult size hoops? I am having a lot of difficulty keeping up the hoop that I have. Admittedly, I am a beginner so I do not expect to hoop for 10 mins straight but its getting a little frustrating.

Measure from the floor to just an inch or two above your belly button, and that is a good size for your hoop. Bigger is better for beginners... 40 inches is often a good beginner size, depending on your height. 1.5 to 2 pounds is a decent weight, but you can get heavier ones if your goal is simply to burn more calories rather than learn tricks and dance moves.

That's a very unkind comment, what is the purpose of it? It's very rude, perhaps you're a lovely person but it's hard to tell when you post a comment like this.
