  • "the music business has changed now, man. it is full of fucking wankers. alright? if they can't ??? your ass, then they aint give you a record deal. if they cant sell you to little kids, you dont know shit from ???, they will not fucking take ???."

so far i understood, what does he say exactly?

  • @AliBenBaba What he's saying is that the quality, long-term viability and artistry of music today is no longer important for record companies.. They only care about throwing out the next one-trick pony that only kids and idiots will like, enjoy and buy/download their single...

The era of the album is gone in this age of 3 minutes success stories: it's like have your #1 single and then fuck off, alright?

  • i love his commentary. :D

  • Agreed, eloquence personified :)

  • He's a genius! A genius I tell you!

  • Noel is the man

  • cud have done without the swearin

  • Full of wankers... like you Noel, then! What a cunt!

  • @TrollHunter69 it's you whose wrong. before, record industries let bands grow and nurture whilst nowadays your'e either good from the beginning till the end or you fuck off. that's why so many bands come and go and why bands won't dare make another album until 3 years after the previous one.

  • @dean24uk i guess, but you said people respect him.

  • @AliBenBaba it's *flog your *arse, shit from *clay (saying that the kids are stupid because they can't tell the difference between shit and clay) and he says they won't take a chance on you at the end. basically saying that if they can't sell you to stupid kids, then they won't give you a record deal. I assume you can't understand his accent because from your spelling of arse/ass, i expect you're from america.

  • @HangTheDJ16 I love that term you used, "one trick pony." That's exactly what it is. There will always be a few passionate people who love to make memorable music, no matter how bad the mainstream gets.

  • @domesticcaribou wich was my point in the first place

  • @dean24uk people don't respect him because he's an ass who's entire career is based on being an ass and ripping off the beatles. but regardless of what i think about him, he makes a good point about the music industry
